9月1日是一個(gè)萬(wàn)眾期待的日子——開！學(xué)！日！

同學(xué)們期待著和小伙伴重逢，爸媽們盼望著神獸歸籠。說(shuō)實(shí)話老師們還真有點(diǎn)想念自己的這群“小可愛”們。

Today is a special day-First Day of School!

The students are expecting meeting the classmates again The parents are expecting the kids going back to the campus. In fact, the teachers miss the cute kids.

世外小學(xué)有個(gè)傳統(tǒng)，那就是新學(xué)年第一周“大手牽小手”。由五年級(jí)同學(xué)在校門口迎接新一年級(jí)的弟弟妹妹，并一對(duì)一護(hù)送他們進(jìn)自己的班級(jí)。一方面是為了緩解一年級(jí)新生到新環(huán)境后產(chǎn)生的緊張情緒；另一方面是給他們指引去往教室的路。

There is a tradition in WFL. Week 1 of the new semester, 'Hand-in-hand'. Yr5 students welcome the new Yr1 students at the school gate and send them to the classroom one by one. On one hand, it will release the pressure. On the other hand, it will guide the way to the classroom. What a huge campus! I don't remember the way.

今天，五年級(jí)的哥哥姐姐們很早就到學(xué)校了，他們放下書包，整理好著裝就趕緊到校門口等待新一屆弟弟妹妹們的到來(lái)。

Today, Yr5 brothers and sisters arrived the school early. They put down the schoolbags, dressed up and hurried to the school gate, waiting for the new younger brothers and sisters to come.

“來(lái)了!來(lái)了!”大家相互提醒著，一邊迎了上去。“妹妹，你的書包重嗎？我來(lái)幫你背！”說(shuō)完接過(guò)書包，一手扛到肩上，一手指引妹妹往教學(xué)大樓走去。防疫期間，雖然同學(xué)們不能“手牽手”，但有哥哥姐姐陪伴在身邊，弟弟妹妹們安全感爆棚啦！

'Here they are ! 'people reminded each other and came up to the students. 'Sister, is your schoolbag heavy? Let me help you!' the Yr5 student pur the schoolbag on the shoulder and guided the girl to the school building. During the COVID-19 period, the students are not hand-in-hand, but with the accompany of the big brothers and sisters, the Yr1 students feel safe.

桂林西街校區(qū)的同學(xué)們要穿過(guò)101長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)的弄堂才能到達(dá)學(xué)校，學(xué)長(zhǎng)們很有防疫意識(shí)，將學(xué)校防疫要求一一和弟弟妹妹們交代清楚。“弟弟，進(jìn)校時(shí)記得戴好口罩”“注意——我們要和前面同學(xué)保持一定距離”“我們要走在虛線內(nèi)”“進(jìn)校門前要洗手、然后測(cè)溫”

The students of West Campus must go through the long lane to reach the school. The students keep the tips in mind and remind the new students of wearing the masks. 'Brither, wear your mask while entering the school' 'Attention-we should keep the distance from the front student.' 'Wash your hands and check the temperature'

天氣炎熱，同學(xué)們幾個(gè)來(lái)回又戴著口罩早已都汗流浹背，但大家的腳步卻始終沒有停歇。It is a hot day. The students fetch several times wearing the masks and sweat a lot. But everyone keeps up the good work, never stop to rest. 

看著校園里一對(duì)對(duì)最萌身高差，簡(jiǎn)直太有愛啦。

Look at the difference between the highest of the pairs. It's full of love.

學(xué)長(zhǎng)們護(hù)送著弟弟妹妹，仿佛看見了五年前的自己。這個(gè)暖心的傳統(tǒng)沿襲了一屆又一屆，長(zhǎng)大后我就成了你，成為最美好的世外人！大手牽小手，將愛傳遞，一起共成長(zhǎng)！

The Yr5 students are walking with the younger brothers and sisters .  It seems that they saw themselves who were on the first day 5 years ago. The warm-hearted tradition lasts year and year.When I grow up, I become you ,  a nice WFLer. Hand-in-hand, pass the live, grow together!
