2022年4月23日是第27屆聯合國教科文組織世界讀書日。在世外小學融合部，為了慶祝這一時刻，舉行了“扮演書中角色”的活動。學生們積極踴躍地參加了這次世界讀書日活動。在收到的圖片和視頻中，可以看到學生們模仿“哈利波特”、“匹諾曹”、《西游記》中的“美猴王”、“帽子里的貓”等耳熟能詳的人物角色。

   Saturday April 23 2022 marked the 27th annual UNESCO World Book day. At WFL, in celebration of this occasion we held a “dress up as a book character while you read” activity. The student community participated in this World Book Day activity very enthusiastically. In the pictures and video submissions we received, we can see students impersonating Harry Potter, Pinocchio, Monkey King from Journey to the West, the Cat from The Cat in the Hat and many more.

   融合部二年級學生在4月24日上午的直播課上，舉行了書中人物裝扮日活動。《冰雪奇緣》中的“艾爾莎”、《沉睡魔咒》中的“奧羅拉公主”、“長發公主”、“唐老鴨”等各種書中角色在“空中”相聚。

   In Year 2, the classes had a book character dress up day on Sunday April 24, during their morning class session. We can see Elsa from Frozen, Princess Aurora from Maleficent, Rapunzel, Donald Duck plus many more book characters.

   在居家學習期間，世外小學融合部的學生在家里給父母、弟弟、妹妹或填充玩具和寵物讀書。對于學生來說，閱讀的愛好不會因為在家遠程學習而停止。孩子們積極閱讀各類書籍，將閱讀進行到底。

   During these COVID times, WFL students can be seen reading books at home to their parents, younger siblings, or stuffed animals. For our students, the love of reading does not stop just because we are learning remotely at home. Moreover, reading is happening in Chinese and English, bilingually in both language mediums. It is wonderful to see that reading never stops for WFL students! Keep up the good work!

   學校將繼續鼓勵學生發現閱讀的神奇之處，以及閱讀對認知發展、會話技能、自我表達等方面的好處!

   We continue to encourage students to discover the wonders of reading and the benefits it brings for cognitive development, conversational skills, self-expression and much much more!
